The Real Rio's mission is to make life easier for English-speaking vacationers in Rio de Janeiro.

The reason we are unique from the hundreds of other tourism agencies is twofold.

1) English is our native tongue
2) We were once the same as you: tourists in Rio

Dealing with us eliminates the uncertainty and confusion that can arise when communicating between two vastly different languages. We have been the novice traveler, unable to utter anything other than "obrigado", to now being fluent in Portuguese and working in all aspects of the tourism industry in Rio de Janeiro, and Brazil.

Our operations are run out of two locations: one in Toronto, Canada, and the other on the ground in Rio de Janeiro. Not only do we help you plan your vacation before you leave the comforts of your own home, we also provide valuable information, tips, and answers to your questions leading up to and even during your stay in Rio.
