Búzios was a simple fishing village until the early 1960’s. Now it is a magnificent beach resort located 170 kms NE of Rio de Janeiro. It is a favorite getaway for Brazilians, as well as international tourists as it has so much to offer. Most are attracted by the beaches, great nightlife, and the outdoor activities.


 Amazing Beaches - Búzios lies on a peninsula and is comprised of over 20 amazing beaches.


 Unlimited Daily Golf - Búzios has an 18 hole golf course which is considered one of the best in Latin America. It was designed by Dye Designs (TPC Sawgrass) and has their famous island green on the 17th hole.


Rent a Dune Buggy – This is the best and most enjoyable way of  exploring all the beaches and seeing the beauty of the peninsula.
The peninsula is easy to navigate, and with a dune buggy, you can  get away to a remote beach, discover a nice forested trail to hike, or go on a sightseeing adventure.

Scuba Diving – Búzios is a popular dive location with its crystal clear waters and abundance of marine life. Experienced and non experienced divers are welcomed.



Horseback Riding – Enjoy a horseback ride along the beach and forested trails. No previous riding experience necessary.

Kite Surfing – Is a rapidly growing sport that combines windsurfing, surfing and wakeboarding.
 


Boat Trips – Jump on a schooner leaving Armação beach and visit several beaches and islands, with stops for swimming. On board, indulge on free caipirinhas, soft drinks, bottled water, and fresh fruit.
