The Sambadrome opens its doors at 17:00.

Opening ceremony begins at 20:00.

First school will begin parading at 21:00.

Last school will finish parading at 05:00.

Ticket Pricing

Grandstand “Arquibancadas” – These seats are the most reasonably priced, and therefore the most popular ones. There are no allocated seats, so you will have to find your own spot, but your ticket allows you to move freely within the specified sector. Here you will be with thousands of Brazilians and get a great feel of the true Carnaval spirit.

Open Boxes “Frisas” – Each box consists of 6 numbered chairs and a small table. They are located in front of each sector and right on the samba runway. The seats are all numbered and are yours for the entire night. You can come and go without fear of losing your spot!!!
