Highlights:

Rocinha Favela

Camera, suntan lotion, comfortable shoes, and a few R$
for drinks and spending money. Local art will be available to purchase
for those interested and a small donation is necessary to visit the
day nurseries and schools.

This tour includes the complete
Rocinha Favela tour plus the Tijuca
Forest.
The Tijuca is part of the
Tijuca National Park,
which is the largest urban rain forest in the world. We will hike
along a forested trail until we reach the waterfalls. Along the way we
will hopefully encounter various animals such as monkeys, sloths,
exotic birds, and turtles.
Next it is ff to the Emperor’s Table and
finally the Chinese View lookout point where there are magnificent
views of the beaches, Guanabara Bay and Sugar Loaf Mountain. |
